  The flagstone is organised and packed according to the agreed installation plan. Customised projects are divided into clearly identified areas or zones to make handling and installation easier.

• Is every slab marked?

  For fully customised projects, the slabs are numbered or otherwise identified to correspond with the production drawings and installation documentation. The marking system will be explained as part of the delivery information.

• What should be checked when the delivery arrives?

  Check the packaging and stone for visible transport damage before moving or installing the slabs. Any damage or discrepancies should be photographed and reported promptly, with the relevant pallet and slab markings visible.

• Should the slabs be laid out before fixing?

  Yes. We recommend placing the slabs according to the documentation before they are fixed. This allows the installer to check the sequence, adjust the joints and confirm the overall appearance.

• Can the joints be adjusted during installation?

  Small adjustments are normally possible and are part of the installer’s work. The overall pattern, slab positions and planned transitions should still be maintained. Major changes should be discussed with Stoneart before installation continues.
