Norwegian interior designer and TV personality Halvor Bakke is widely known for his work with Scandinavian interiors and as the host of the popular renovation series Eventyrlig Oppussing. At his own country home outside Stavern, Norway, he has created a carefully designed garden composed of several distinctive spaces for outdoor living.

The outdoor kitchen is one of these spaces, combining cooking and entertaining in a light-filled setting surrounded by greenery. Dovre in Norwegian Flagstone Classic forms the floor, where the large, individually shaped stones introduce natural variation and the characteristic flowing lines of traditional Norwegian flagstone. Its understated grey tones complement the white structure and warm timber details, creating an inviting space with an unmistakably Nordic character. After receiving the flagstones for his outdoor kitchen, Halvor also wanted the same stone for his two outdoor dining areas.
